Forum Rules

The following are a general list of rules for our community. We want a community of users that respect each other and each other's opinions. Anyone breaking these rules will be warned and then banned. Our intention is not to be heavy-handed with this, but as this forum grows, we need to be able to keep the peace and maintain our 'friendly forum.'

* One account per individual. Any additional accounts will be deleted without notice.
* No nudity in pictures, linked or attached.
* No links or references to warez, warez sites, cracks, hacks, or any other related activities, or sites that promote such illegal activities.
* No posts that do not fit in with the focus of this site, except in designated off-topic areas.
* In the off-topic areas, political and religious threads are allowed, but behavior is expected to be appropriate. If a member cannot act in a polite and civilized manner, he/she will be warned.
* No obscene behavior, flaming, insulting another. If you have a problem with another member, deal with it privately.
* No bypassing the swear filter OR over use of profaniety
* Post threads in appropriate forums. Moderators reserve the right to move threads to the correct forum.
* Usernames that have an offensive nature will not be accepted. Whether or not usernames are offensive will be determined by the admins.
* No spamming or unsolicited advertising of any sort.
* All opinions and views regarding political/religious topics must be kept in the restricted forum. Differences of opinion must not carry over into the other forums.
* Moderators of clan forums are expected to use the moderating powers with respect, and not edit/change/modify another users posts with the intent to alter the context of the original post. Any such abuse should be reported to the administrators.

Any posts that do not meet these criteria may be arbitrarily deleted or moved by the administration team.

We want gibblets to be a friendly place, sadly it only takes a small number of people to change that.

And the most important rule which is encompassed in many of the above ones being;

No personal abuse/attack/provocation of any individual used with the intent to upset against any individual or organisation.

With the current state of Gibblets and the attitudes of some posters, Gibblets would like the rest of you members to not give these people the attention they crave. Ignore their idiotic behaviour and they wont have reason to bite back. Please leave it to us to deal with.
